Of a far away corner
A world that has yet to hurt me
Dark opalescent pools in periphery
Leaves that fall, stratified acrylic
Suns that set in pastels
Nights of technicolor
Water that kills skin
A world that bites, scalds
Tears your skin
Not like paradise
Paradise that hurt me
And I alone, stand over the view
Longing of agony
Requited loves
Dancing around me
Mayflies, fireflies
Not mine though
Chilled and grayscale
Frozen exploits
Forever mine
So I rest, at last
Paradise can hurt me no more
